The Oda Ranch was started in Richmond, TX by Musashi “Mike” Oda who had a dream to bring traditional Japanese Wagyu to the United States.

When starting the farm, Oda knew developing a nutrition program combined with humane practices was the key to creating high quality, healthy, and amazingly marbled beef.

The name Wodagyu comes from our name “Oda” inside Wagyu, representing the deep-rooted commitment, passion, and respect required to raise Tajima Wagyu Cattle.

We continue to honor Musashi’s legacy by providing happy stress-free grazing, sustainable farm practices, and high quality nutrition to our cattle.

Our mission is to bring the flavor of Wagyu from our farm to your table.

Our Cows

The well-being of our cattle is the top priority at our ranch. We do everything possible to give the animals happy lives with minimal stress; they are free to roam on hundreds of acres of peaceful pastureland. All of our cattle are raised in a natural environment and are never injected with artificial hormones or antibiotics. Our cows are pasture raised and supplemented with specially formulated grain feed for 180-200 days.
